Sims Life Stories

I purchased the sims life and pet stories back in 2010 as digital downloads they do show up in my EA Account but after I download and install them I get the following message:  "In Order to launch this game please login to the EA Link to verify ownership."  How do I go about this as I'm unsure what it means.
