Since my cp updated to windows 10 from Window 7. Sims Medevil won't play properly. It was playing fine on the windows 7. Now it will bring up the launcher window but when I press the green play button it starts to load in background and stays playing in the background. Never displays the game itself. I don't know what to do at this point.... Pls someone help?!
@HS-Dreamcatcher , you may have to reinstall the game as the update from Windows 7 to 10 may have affected something. So, don't worry about your saved games. We'll keep those nice and safe for you. 🙂
To locate your saved games, go to Documents > Electronic Arts > Sims Medieval. Move the entire folder to your Desktop. Do not copy and paste it or create a shortcut. When you move this folder, your saved games will be safe on your Desktop at this point.
Next uninstall and reinstall the game. Please let me know if you have any problems reinstalling the game at this point. If the game installs ok, start it up allowing the game to regenerate a new Sims Medieval folder and start a new game (remember at this point your saved games are safe on your Desktop) and play for about an hour to make sure nothing else odd is occurring.
If all seems good at this point, you can move the contents of your saved games folder into the new saved games folder and all should be back to normal.
