sims medieval
Hi - I've recently activated my game code and uploaded my Sims Medieval game via Origin. In addition to getting the "Error 16" when trying to save (I see there are a LOT of posts about how to fix th...
@abc75PdP967df4 , Error 16 can be solved by saving your game under Save As with a new name (like say your original name for the game was "Fred" and you then save it as "Mary"). Make sure you are running as an Administrator. Also clean your Recycle Bin and defrag your hard drive.
Did you transfer over your game files from a previous version? Like previous saves? Just asking so we can find the solution.
Hi - this was a fresh installation. Have not run any Sims games on this machine previously.
I did get the error16 issue to resolve.
Have cleaned the registry, emptied the recycle bin and defragged but that didn't seem to help with the issue of getting stuck at the end of level 1.
@abc75PdP967df4 , it's been a while since I've played. 🙂 Let me start up a new game to remember what is supposed to happen. I'll get back to you very soon.

Once you finish the any quest, the game will automatically send you to the Kingdom Overview mode (where you can add new characters and buildings) or furnish mode where you can redecorate the existing buildings. After you finish the first quest, you need to add another building (like one of the churches, wizard's tower, clinic, etc.). Once you have added the other building, you can either choose to play one of the two characters generated or you can create your own new sim. Once you have placed that new building, you can either choose to continue in "free play" or choose another quest. is the game freezing at this point and not letting you progress?
