Small adjustable blue meter to the left of the lifetime aspiration meter?

What is it? No tooltip shows on hover and I can't find an answer on Google.

  • I think it's Influence. It comes with Freetime if I remember. You can put your cursor on the bar (without clicking) and a legend must appear to explain what it is. 😉

  • Do you have a screen about what are you talking about ? It's not the thermometer ?

I tried taking a screenshot for you but it just took a picture of my desktop. Rather than messing with the compatibility settings of my game to get one, I just found one online: http://guidesmedia.ign.com/guides/14223155/images/590/sims2ft-04.jpg

It is in between "pm" on the clock and the lifetime and current aspiration meters. The adjustable blue meter is equal in height to the aspiration meters in that screenshot though mine is only 2/3 of the height currently and I remembered it being smaller, so it may be increasing in size for me too.

It is not the thermometer, it is down and just a little bit to the right of the thermometer. It is to the left of the Aspiration meter (currently white in that screenshot) and the Lifetime Aspiration meter (Currently blue in that screenshot with tick marks just like the Aspiration meter. I am talking about the blue one without tick marks just to the left of that.)

Thanks for the help. I'm a new Ultimate Collection player.

Yes, just discovered in my game that I could get a tooltip for it now. Sorry, dumb question, and I also accidentally called the Lifetime Aspiration meter the Influence meter in the post title >_< I edited the title to help anyone looking for this on Google since my question now shows up in results.

Why is it adjustable, where by adjustable I mean you can click and drag it and change its level?
