I clipped this bit out because I think you hit on something important. I do believe TS4 is a satire on life in the 2000's. I don't know about you but I can't go anywhere without seeing almost everyone on their phones. They're listening to music, watching movies, playing games, all while out in public and some even wandering into roads or benches, not paying attention. I see groups of friends out and about and no one is talking or looking at each other, just at their phones. I think that's the life TS4 is trying to replicate, and like it or not... they do seem to be doing a good job of it.
