- I'm a terrible builder. TS4 intuitive buld mode allows me to fail said builds faster.
- Sims 4 build mode by far, it made build from houses to mansions such an easy task (and fun!).
- Sims 4 without a doubt. Although there's some issues, like trying to delete individual tiles. When I first came over from TS3 I tried to delete a couple of tiles around the top of the stairs and the entire floor disappeared! In the Sims 3 you could just delete single tiles wherever you want but in Sims 3 you have to work out how to use the rooms system to make it work which is a pain. And then if you have a room in the roof, place one wall down and suddenly the rooms disappeared to be covered by roof!
- Lonewolf1044Seasoned SpectatorThe building mode is one of two options that I do like out of Sims 4 but I brought the game to play and not build 100% of the time.
- It’s convenient to use, TS3 you had to Buy mode and build mode separate, TS4, Atleast it’s all in 1.
- I'm not sure how to answer this.... I don't build and just download buildings off the gallery or in the case of sims 2/3 off other websites. Should I answer it based on which houses I feel I like more?
- ChadSims2Seasoned NoviceBuild mode is one of the few things Sims 4 has going for it though no water tool is a huge downfall for me.
- ValiantRedKnightNew SpectatorI was really bad at building in the sims 3 and not having to switch between build/buy mode is extremely useful. The roof and stair tools are really neat too.
- DeKaythePUNKSeasoned VanguardThe Sims 4 Build mode is hands down, the best. It's not perfect like, it's terrain tool might not be as customizable as TS2's or TS3's but the main bulk of the mode like building a house is really good and so intuitive.
- DaraviNew TravelerI voted for Sims 4, because it's easier. But as far as I remember (too long ago) in Sims 2 there was a function of platforms (splitlevel) within the room which I had used to build with the stairs along the corners and another function to create lakes. Both things would be nice to have in my sims4 too.
