The Sims - Complete Collection Disks

i purchased a box/disc copy of the The Sims complete collection - there is a product code inside, but i can redeem this anywhere, it says the code is invaild - i have tried on steam and on the new ea...

    @MsTERRItorial Unfortunately, the original Sims game is not available for digital download anywhere. In order to install it, you will need a disk drive.

The code is needed to install the game on the discs you can't use your code unless you have a disc drive
