I'm in the same situation and have glance through all the solutions on this forum. Have tried all those methods until I saw your reply. So I emailed the EA Help Center and see if I could find a way to re-install the game for my mum.
Unfortunately, the EA CS just keep sending me link of the forum and asked me to find the answer myself, instead of providing solutions. I told her I've read through all the posts but failed to re-install the SIMS 2, she wrote nothing but just sent me the link of this post and ask me to find the solution myself (AGAIN!), I capture your reply to her "However, as you have the base game and most of the packs, I would recommend you to contact one of our advisors through EA Help as they might be able to turn your physical copies of the games into digital. You will find a detailed explanation on how to contact them if you need it here." and she keep repeat the same *........
I'm not sure if an AI is answering me or a Real CS is answering me, but the EA CS just drove me crazy and totally not helpful at all. So Ms Mai, I Would like to seek for your advice if there's any method to play the SIMS2 on windows 10 again? My mum really want to play that so badly and I don't want to disappoint her âšī¸
