The Sims 2 - Ultimate Collection 2017?

Can I still download The Sims 2 - Ultimate Collection for free in 2017? (I'm from Germany by the way, in case that changes anything).

it's crazy because i actually bought the collection and thought it would be saved in my game library forever. i accidentally deleted it this week and I'm trying to reinstall it but its no longer anywhere in my account super upset with EA games!!!!

I'm mad now because I contacted EA in July to ask them about it and the answer I got is ''Hey there! That particular promotion was 3 or 4 years ago. I am so sorry for that situation. -Scooter, EA Help Team''.
I still have proof of that conversation so I might give it a try anyway.

Yep, had that same problem on my first try but on the second try I was asked to provide them with the proof that I had the actual game. I did that but the answer was still no. Apparently I should have had TS2 base game already in my library so that they could upload the expansions via their system. I have no idea why this was their solution, since it makes absolutely no sense but it's not like I can argue. Oh, and the UC is no longer available for anyone, regardless of your ownership of the CD copies or general devotion to the game... for some reason.
