[The Sims 2] Sims 2 Website - Why won't the website let me log in?

I have an account on Origin as the website specifies I must have, but when I try to log in on the website (thesims2.ea.com), it says my account isn't in their system?  What's going on?

hello, i play the sims 2 and i cannot log into the exchange. i forgot my password and now i get an error saying that i have tried to log in to many times with the wrong password. i have searched and searched to find help. i would like to have a tech help me but i do not know where to go. please help!!!
