@SQWSif My game, running on a 4GB GTX 1050, also struggles with the in game video recorder. It might be a good idea to explore some external options.

Hmm I was thinking about it… I tried OBS but the quality appeared reaally bad. An image was like covered with a dark pellicle. Also when I turned to a Cameraman regime the sound was off. No matter how I tried managing the quality - nothing helped me ☹️ Maybe I was doing it wrong.
Do you know where can I read about optimizing settings in OBS for the Sims 2?
