Hi everyone! Aspyr just released a patch today for Sim 2 Super Collection. Not sure if it addresses the M1 chip issue, but I did want to let you all know.
what happens to me is that the game suddenly auto exits... it not even crashes, it just stops working altogether...
i've tried installing big sur 11.1 beta, since I've heard that fixes some issues with Rosseta 2, but it doesn't work, in fact now the game stops even quicker than before.
@veganjoan , Big Sur is still in beta testing, so somethings may work and others may not. As @KetieSaner said, the more people that report issues with details to Aspyr, the more quickly they will fix it or respond with a solution. While EA did originally release Sims 2, the Sims 2 Super Collection is ported and maintained by Aspyr. Aspyr is a company that ports games to other platforms like from PC to console or vice versa.
