[The Sims 2] The sims 2 online play

Everytime I dounload the game to play online I end up getting some other game that Im not interested in. The site continues to reroute me to some game that I dont want. Ive try every way possible to play this game on lie however, I cant seem to get it to play mode because some other crap pops up instead after the dopunload. What can I do to simply play the game online as the site says I can?
