I know this says The Sims 3, but it's help for the Sims 2.
I recently bought a used Sims 2 Game (original) off Amazon. It works fine, except for when I put my downloads in to the Downloads Folder ...

How can I get the Sims 2 patch?

@lince918 , the same way. Since Sims 2 is an older game that has been sunset by EA, you'll need to do a Google search to find the sites that house the complete collection of patches for the game. They are out there, but you have to search for them.
- @lince918 You can find the patches on SimsVIP, which is linked in the 3rd post on this thread.
@mate54 , some people have said that the links either no longer work or they have had problems downloading them. And please note that this thread is from 2017, so there are definitely other sites that host the patches. Due to forum rules, I cannot post links here, so that is why I have advised people to do Google searches for the patches. 🙂
- @Tremayne4260 Oh, that's a bummer to hear. I know that ModTheSims hosts them too, so that can be a good alternative then.
