The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection - Fun With Pets Registration Key

I recently redeemed the I-LOVE-THE-SIMS code for the free copy of "The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection" on Origin. When I installed the game and clicked play I was asked for a "The Sims 2 fun with pets registration code" I clicked enter as there was a code already entered in the text box and it asked me for the code again, so it didn't work. I tried a few more times just in case and tried the repair game menu but it didn't work.

I then did a Google search to try and fix my problem and tried another code which told me the uses for this code have reached their maximum uses  or something, and continued to say the same everytime I loaded it up, wothout giving me the option to re-enter a code. So I am now re-installing the game.
