    There is definitely no harm in players continuing to leaving feedback in the Sims Forums regarding their interest for Sims 2 to be made available over EA Desktop, you're welcome to do this.

    Since we still see these threads occasionally, and our old thread regarding Sims 2 was quite outdated, we just wanted to reaffirm the information is still current in that there is no current plans to make the game available again digitally.

I agree that it should make a return. Purchasing DVD copies may be really hard in some regions, some regions even never produce combo pack, make it even hard to get. 

Even we got it, some of the DVD's were scratched because it was really old. Some modern computers don't have DVD drives, and some of them refuses to install. 

There is currently no way to get this game legally, a lot of players need to ___ to get the game, some of them may need to search and pay high shipping price to get a DVD copy, and there is a lot of players never knew they can contact support to get the game digitally, which they now can't get the game they purchased.

There is a petition on change.org currently has near 11700 signed, just want to get the game again. I don't know why EA have no plans even thousands of player want the game have a return, a lot of players would want to play the game safe and legal.

@fantuanss , You can purchase disk drives for your computer as external sources. My computer doesn't have a built in disk drive, yet I have a disk drive attached to my computer so that I can either play older games or add CD's to my iTunes. Other World Computing is a good place to look for extra memory, disk drives and more. They are fairly reasonably priced. 

Just trying to pass on information for people who may be looking into these options.

    @Tremayne4260I understand, my computer has a disc drive, but when I search for third-party sellers, a lot of them sell packs but it costs ridiculously high. I am planning to go to retail hunting after COVID, but it still let me feel exhausted to complete it because my region NEVER produce UL collection, BOB collection...
    I really don't want to _______ the game, it makes me fell guilty, and I usually will buy the game eventually. It was such a disappointment I can't get this game anymore no matter what.
