The Sims 2 University Error With Installation

I recently just tried to install The Sims 2 University on my computer after restoring it to factory condition. I have the base game and Nightlife installed as well as custom content. The game installs until 49% and I get a message that says, "A problem occurred when trying to transfer the file, 'TSData\Res\3D\Objects09.package' from the media. Do you want to retry to copy the file, or cancel the installation?" I keep retrying but still keep getting the same message. Help?

Hi @GabbieStars,

Sometimes if a CD/DVD is damaged or it has dust, you will get this errors when trying to install the game. Please, try to clean your CD carefully with a soft and clean cloth or any other appropriate method. Once clean, try to install the game again.
