the sims 2

I have recently bought a new laptop that has no disc drive in it. i want to be able to play he sims 2 without the disc but i do have the to enter when you download it. how can i do this? ive looked multiple places yet cant find what im looking for SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!!!!
