[The Sims (2000)] How to back up saves?
I'm having a problem with the game so I'd like to try reinstalling it. However, I still want my saves and I can't find anything online to tell me. How do I back up my save files?

Sorry for the wait, are you still wondering this?
If so, the user files for The Sims are stored by default in C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims. Your neighborhoods are saved in UserDataX folders, where X is a number. if you save those folders, you should be ready for the reinstallation!
You might want to save the whole The Sims folder, just to be on the safe side 😉
