The Sims 4 has less advanced genetics than previous Sims games?

I'm not sure this is completely true. I have had sim's with alien DNA in their family tree turn out Blue when their parent wasn't. But maybe that is just an alien thing.

Sad about about the lack of recessive gene's though. I always really liked that about the sims 2. I liked to do legacy families and see what popped up throughout the ages.
