The Sims doesn't work
I just bought The Sims 1 and The Sims 2 set, installed the first series of the game and it won't start. I downloaded the EA apps and installed the game but when I try to run it, nothing happens. What to do? I have Windows 10

Unfortunately, welcome to the (very big) club. The majority of players can't open The Sims 1. So far, none of the solutions posted have worked for me.

Go to this thread to make a report. The thread is incorrectly labeled as solved which is frustrating because it isn't solved. The "solutions" posed have only worked for some players. Many others still can't launch the game.
