The Sims Life Stories

My mother accidentally erased my Sims Life Stories off the computer. I lost a character, my Manuel. Is there anyway you can resend me the registration code??

    Hi, in this case you'll want to contact support, as this game was made some time ago. Be sure to keep an image of your code to hand.

I have the sims life story game and I reset the game and it erased everything on the disc and now when I open it it shows the how to play slide and when I click the play button to start it a box shows up saying "the application has crashed. The application will now terminate." And it closes. Is there a way to fix this so that I can play the game? This is on windows.
