[The Sims Medieval] error: -5005 : 0x8000ffff

Trying to uninstall Sims Medieval and keep getting error -5005 : 0x8000ffff

I am having the same issue, and the link above me is broken.

Here is the full detail of the error message I recieve:

Error Code: -5005 : 0x8000ffff

Error Information:

I have the sims medieval digital download through origin.

Any help would be appreciated...I haven't played this game for years and it's taking up space. :/
