[The Sims Medieval] error code

I have bought the game the sims 3 medieval from orgin, I keep trying to download it to my second computer, which is a dell xp gen2, In various stages of the download I get an error code stating that an unspecified error has occurred, cancel and restart the download, error : 7049:500, what does this mean? Will I ever be able to download to my laptop? What do I do to fix this issue?
