The Sims Medieval: NonPackaged Folder Missing

Hi, so I was trying to navigate to C://Program Files/Electronic Arts/The Sims Medieval/Game Data/Shared/Nonpackaged/Ini/Commands.ini. for testingcheats reasions, however the Nonpackaged folder is mysteriously absent. I've made sure no folders are hidden, I've even tried repairing the program, no dice. I'm running the Special Edition via Origin, and honestly any help or direction would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

@electricxdream I would suggest repairing again. Have you checked if your game functions properly? If it does, the files probably still exist somewhere.

  • @electricxdream I have just checked mine and both the folder and the file you mentioned are there. However, since the world is also stored in the NonPackaged folder, missing those files would mean the game wouldn't work properly either. Is the entire game installed in the location you mentioned? Origin's default installation location is C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\, so is there any chance that some files from Medieval are in that location?

  • @mate54 Ah yes sorry should have double-checked my typing, yes, the folder I'm navigating to IS in x86.
I'm very confused as to why this is missing, when I know it's been there before.

  • @mate54 Thanks, so I managed to track down the file, it was buried elsewhere for WHATEVER reason. Again, thanks for your help!!!
