The sims medieval on Mac

Hi,

I've been wanting to play The Sims Medieval for so long, and I was wondering if the game runs on or supports the new MacBook Pro. Also, a few days ago, I had to switch from Origin to the EA app, and I'm not quite sure how it works. Does the app have its own shop for every EA game like Origin did? Can I purchase The Sims Medieval from the EA app?

  • @Kenkkunen Yes, EA App sells all games that Origin used to, it's just a new client for an updated experience. The Sims Medieval is available, but it will not run on Macs that have been updated to macOS 10.15 Catalina and newer.

The only option that I can give you is running Windows on Parallels, but I do not know what the performance is like, and I believe Parallels is subscription based.

  • @Kenkkunen , if you have an M1 chip or newer, Parallels will not run. You need an Intel Chips Mac (which Apple no longer sells) to run Windows. And Parallels was a subscription Windows emulator.
