@renfield40 Clear your browser caches, and then go to https://store.thesims3.com/ (the Sims 3 store site). Login with your Origin credentials, then scroll to the bottom of the screen and select Register a Game.

It might also help to use a different browser. Neither Safari nor Chrome works very well with the store site.
