Can you try to update your game before installing Pirates & Nobles ?
- Mac disk patch: http://lvlt.thesims.cdn.ea.com/sims/u/f/simsmedieval/mac/To-6847-2.0.114.00001.tgz
- Mac digital download patch: http://lvlt.thesims.cdn.ea.com/sims/u/f/simsmedieval/mac/To-6847-2.0.114.00107.tgz
- Download the appropriate patch from the links above.
- Once the file has downloaded, open the .tgz file to extract the patch application.
- Open the patch application. You may encounter a message that the application is from an unknown developer. If so, continue to step 4. If not, skip to step 9.
- Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy.
- Click the lock in the lower left corner to make changes.
- Under Allow apps downloaded from:, select Anywhere.
- When prompted to confirm, select Allow from Anywhere.
- Exit System Preferences and open the patch application again.
- Review and accept the patch terms.
- In the window that appears, open the Applications folder.
- Open The Sims Medieval folder, and select The Sims Medieval icon.
- Click Update in the lower right corner.
We recommend that you revert your Security & Privacy settings after the patch has been applied.
I did this but got the same message. Did I miss something?
