The Sims Medieval Testingcheatsenabled not working

i type in the testingenabled true cheats and its edited in the command.ini everytime i type it in the cheat console it says "unknown command" has anyone else have solution if they found one also mods...

@awaphui , have you used the Control + C + Shift keys to open the cheat window in the game? That's the only place I know to enter cheat commands for most any Sims game.

    Yes i did it just says "Unknown command" when i do

      @awaphui are you sure you typed in the command correctly? I have to check myself when I type in commands to Sims 2 and 3.

        yes i did im playing The sims medieval can't get it to work for the life of me
