The Sims Medieval, Unable to redeem product code on Origin

Dear Support / Internet / Helpful people, I am writing cuz i am in need of assistance! We were moving places and upon transporting our belongings my GF found 2 retail copies of "The Sims Medieval" ...

    @Akaro_Namira The Sims Medieval base game can only be redeemed on The Sims 3 website.

    Log in to thesims3.com with the Origin login you’d like the account on, and at the bottom of the page look for “Register a Game”.

    On that page you should be able to redeem the code if it’s valid and the game will show up in your Origin library.

    Remember to log in to the Sims 3 website with the same login you use for the Origin account you want the game on.

@mate54 I find it interesting how there was no "guide/hint" as to how to do it, or how no support member knew this. It worked, took a bit of time since the site is old but the game is functioning now, thank you for you kind service!

@Akaro_Namira Yeah, it’s weird, I don’t think this is how it’s supposed to work. Although, I recall that TS3 base game originally also needed to be registered there because Origin wouldn’t accept the code; though, that has been addressed.

I believe when you try to register TSM, Origin suggests the wrong redemption page. Hopefully EA addresses this one day.

    i had the game and had it on EA account and now they dont have it on there anymore except for me to buy it when i had it on there but they took it off and i cant find the disk i had for the game so how do i get it back with out paying for it on EA need code for the game

      @Tammymcg2 , I think there is a way in most games to find your game code somewhere is the .ini file. I am not sure since I do not have a Windows computer. However, if you owned the game on Origin prior to upgrading to the EA App, you should be able to contact EA Help Support and explain to them that you owned the game before the switch. They should be able to check the data and reinstall the game on your EA App account.
