I did that in the game is running fine but when I try to double click on the Sims package file another box opens and it’s blank so it’s not letting me open the file to put it in the folder so it will show up in a game do you know any ways to fix that?
@SIMSTER00 , there are two kinds of Sims 2 CC files. The first one ends in the extension ".sims2pack". These are the files that require the Sims 2 installer or Clean Installer to add to your game. Think of them as .zip files.
The second kind end in ".package". These files are already "unzipped" and ready to simply be placed in the Download folder. So if you have a piece of CC called for example "redsweader.package", this file is ready to be placed in the Download folder in your Sims 2 folder. If you do not have a folder named "Download", simply create a new folder with this name and add it to your Sims 2 folder.
