trouble launching the sims medieval

I purchased the game from the EA app but when I try to launch it, this message “service initialization failed (0x6224dd27)” pops up.

I’ve tried:

  • creating a powershell file, add it to the bin folder and open the game while running as adm
  • installing the “intel alder lake patch” from modthesims
  • changing the details of the EA app on task manager
  • repair the game from the EA app

But none of those worked for me. My pc:

  • runs on windows 11
  • has “AMD Ryzen 5 5600H with Radion Graphics” processor

Can anyone help me?

  • Funny thing. I am having the same problem since my PC transfer. My new PC is a Windows 11 and my old one was a Windows 10. My old PC has been completely erased and has gone to recycle. I've tried the Powershell thing and even the Steam Method but nothing is working. I even tried to figure out how to get the EA Desktop App to work with Steam, but that somehow isn't functioning properly. -_- Believe me, I have been trying to get this fixed for a few hours now. I don't blame you. I feel you.
