Unable to play the Sims2 Ultimate collection.
When I run the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, Origin starts instead of the game running.
If running Sims2 again in Origins, the origin is run again after a slight loading.
Does anyone know how to solve it?

@js5137 , if you are playing Sims 2 through Origin, Origin is supposed to run in the background. Not sure exactly what the problem is.
Sims 2 is not running!
After connecting to Origin and running Sims2, the game should run after the Origin runs in the background.
But the game dose not run and the Origin reappears.

@js5137 , ok try this. Locate your Sims 2 folder which is found Documents > EA Games > Sims 2. Move that folder to your Desktop and do NOT delete it. Please do not copy and paste it or create a shortcut. Next, start up the game as normal. See if it will start up and not quit back to Origin. If it does start up, then allow the game to run and generate a new Sims 2 folder. Play for about an hour or so to make sure everything else works fine. Please remember that none of your saved games, CC or mods will appear in game at this time as they are safe on your Desktop.
It could be that a mod or some CC you may have recently added may be bad or out dated. We'll tackle adding that back in after we make sure you can run the game. 🙂
