Since he was my first ever genie, I decided to go with a coloured skin but one of my choosing. I also had a body swap ready for him because I simply won't play zero-slider pudding! :angry:

I have since played this sim as a human sim with normal skin colour but I must admit I enjoyed playing him blue for this save and seeing his kids with blue skin :)

YES! Genies were so bad. Default faces, and the worst default blue skintone (not to mention uh genies are purple in canon, Maxis)
I mostly use unusual skintones for aliens, demons, or for my Simpsons family--I use a CC yellow, but if Maxis released their own that blended equally well with the cheddar-cheese yellow hair, I'd change to that in a heartbeat.
What I'd really love is like, three more caucasian skintones. Making somebody with say, a Scandinavian background, who is also super-pale is hard to do because they come out jaundiced (we need a red-toned pale, instead of the yellow-toned pale we currently have).
All my white people end up using skintone #3 because it's the only one that's not awful.
