Using Sims logos for social media

I see a lot of sims players using content that would usually be categorized as intellectual property belonging to The Sims/EA. Such as The SimS 4 logos, the plumbob, fonts, official screenshots from the Sims 4 blogposts, gamevideos etc. They are typically used for pinterest posts, youtube video thumbnails, as content for a info video, on instagram content etc.

My question is, is it only. “EA partners”/gamechangers” that are allowed to use this content? Or can I as a small hobby gamer (that dont monetize in any way on my socials) use this content as well ?

Some companies offer a kind of branding  package for journalists and such, with content they are allowed to use for article purposes, and I wonder if the same applies for The Sims 4. Might they have a branding package with downloadable logos that are accessible to us who like to share our gaming experience on socials. And if such exists, where can I find it?

For instance, for the 25th birthday, it would have be cool to add those branding tools our posts. Or just a logo on my pinterest posts, so that it is obvious that this is sims 4 content.

    Heya SimMettey

That's a complex question that doesn't have a simple answer, but the general rule of thumb is that if you aren't monetizing the content you're free to use the branding for contextual purposes (it gets more complex if you start to get into the weeds with the EA Creator Network and how that program operates).

If you're just wanting to use the logo or any of our assets like pack art for a thumbnail, I don't see that being a problem at all.
