What is Project Dolores?? Job Posting

Weren't there rumors of EA working on some game that looks like it was sci-fi/futuristic game? Maybe it's that.

If one of the role requirements is to gain in depth knowledge of the Sims then I suspect the job is related to the Sims. There's also a lot of mentioning of engineering and engineers so maybe they are trying to fix the bugs from their origin.

I think it's possible EA is exploring the Metaverse, but I'm not sure why they would only want it to pertain to the Sims and have only Maxis work on it.

Job description makes it very clear they want someone with experience shipping AAA games. I think this is a game separate from Project Rene that is somehow related to the Sims.

Since I seem to recall that somewhere along the line, Project Rene was going to be released along side Sims 4 rather than replacing it - and therefore may not actually be Sims 5, but rather a new variant on Sims Mobile (what with the usability on phones and such) - Maybe Project Dolores is the Actual Sims 5?

I dunno, just a shot in the dark based on implications that Project Rene may not be what we think it is/want it to be.

seriously as a player i would not trust such a video i would see for myself when game if officially announce i also think its to soon to make any reviews when game is not even out yet

GM, Tech Art Director, TDs, Creative Director, and engineers...lots of resources.

I wonder if this (1) replaces Project Rene (2) is a part of Project Rene or (3) is something entirely different.

Dolores? As in "West World's" Dolores? :)

So that could be an Open AI powered sim world where we can have real time conversations with our sims and they answer back realistically?
Where we could discuss other sims with them and influence their opinions and actions towards other sims!!!!

Yep, that makes me think both Project Rene and Project Dolores are full release titles.
