The Sims 2 offers more interactions, consequences for bad choices, surprise deaths, actions, better AI (no long pauses between thinking what to do or say) and more gameplay with what Sims can do with each other. Such as tag, red hands, swing around and ten or so more. So, if voting gameplay (and not just somewhere to go, explore/see go etc.) the TS2 is the better game. Because it's all about the Sim and not the content or the worlds or the money that can be made. It's the only true life simulator depicting what would happen if this happened....
