I gotta say that while I liked the open world of TS3, I really hated the time you wasted traveling to different lots and how empty they seemed because everyone was spread out across the map. Loading screens really aren't that bothersome to me, but I can understand some people's frustration with them when they take longer than 45-60 seconds to load a lot. I still think I prefer the closed world over an open one.
