Why did I get banned for making a suggestion ?

Greetings and Salutations,I am somewhat agitated by the fact that I was banned from the sims2 page for suggesting 'Smoking Sims' !!I even suggested what would happen to the needs of the sim should they start smoking, shortly afterwards, I was banned without me receiving an explanation as to why so I gather it was for making a suggestion that some heretics didnt like.Seems trivial and extremely petty to me considering that even though its a 12 rated, there are things like lesbian and gay relationships, witchcraft and a few other things that some may take exception to yet suggesting 'Smoking' sims got me banned ??!! Can someone tell me why before banning me again for asking a relatively simple question ?It comes down to personal choice for whomever plays the game, dont have to use the option but the fact is, there is the optionIf some religious zealots looked at my Sims2, they really would object as I have an immortal Sorcerer/Vampire that lives in a castle with other vampires, zombies and ghosts, (havent managed to get a werewolf yet) i'd probably get dragged to the village limits and stoned to death for simply having a sims2 neighburhood with this castle and its occupants in it. Yet I get banned for even suggesting 'Smoking' how evil am I for even contemplating the very idea. &nbsp;?????????

Did you get a message that you were banned ? As far as I know, the sims2 page has been closed (sometime in January, don't know the exact date)

Nope, just went to check out the sims2 page, went to login and it says that I was banned, no reason, no email, nothing. The only thing I could think of was because of my suggestion. I made a pretty good argument about it being a personal choice thing, how it would affect the sim etc so unless they didnt want to start an 'already lost' argument, they just banned me.

Hi,I tried to login via the start page where the game loads up. (Game Launcher)I click the game icon and a little box pops up with all the icons for the sims2 expansion packs and stuff at the top next to a clickable icon to start the game and a page loads up underneath &nbsp;This has only recvently stopped loading up but I tried getting in ages ago (last summer)Surely it would state that the page no longer exists rather than state asorry, you are banned from using this service ?I dont know what the heck is going on, im not internet or computer savvy, just play games on it and use internet.Okay, dont worry about it, i'm going to have to buy all the sims3 stuff now. I had all the sims1 and sims2 now I have to have a small win on the lottery to get all the new ones, sheesh, please tell me that sims4 is NOT in the pipeline anytime soon.Thanks,JayJay
