Will Sims 5 have different kind of expansions? (If Sims 5 will ever be)

It's unfortunate. The only way you can get EA to change their ways is for another Battlefront-styled explosion (and now EA is getting sued over their lootboxes in the sports games, serves them right), and I highly doubt that'll happen and we'll get complacent players that'll tell EA that it's okay to make the Sims progressively worse and more monetized like their other franchises. ?
