Will The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection ever be available again?

I'm a huge fan of The Sims series. I have many expansion packs for The Sims 3 and 4. I would also like to have The Sims 2 UC in my ea app. Will The Sims 2 ever be available again?

@kamilose999 At the moment there have been no announcements about bringing back The Sims 2. You can still play it, if you’re willing to go an extra mile.

PC: disk versions will still work with some patience and tweaks, if you have a disk drive or get an external one.

Mac: The Sims 2 Super Collection is available on Mac App Store.

    @mate54  Unfortunately, nowadays computers do not have an optical disc drive and connecting an external one is annoying because they often break down. Connecting an external disc reader every time someone wants to start sims 2 is problematic.
