I simply hate it when I feel brainwashed. Repeating the same phrases over and over makes me shut totally down. The sims was not only targeted at teen girls. It was an attempt to make a game, they would enjoy, when so many games were targeted at boys and men at the time. Which doesn't mean, that Sims can only be enjoyed by young teen girls. On the opposite this game is enjoyed and played by all ages and both genders.
The Sims Medieval is just targeted at those who like quests and winning a game, when The Sims is for creativity, builders and storytellers.
