Yet another Sims 2 start up problem

I installed the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection with no issues, but everytime I try to open the game I get this pop-up message: (Header) The Sims 2 Mansion and Garden Stuff  "The Sims 2 is not installed...

    Had the same problem. open Origin and goto "My games", right click sims 2 and click "check for update". That worked for me.

I have the same problem. I've been using the repair game option and it works for a little while then it comes right back.

    help me, 

    i've same issue, but it's no longer have repair button or anything else. There are only play or uninstall.
