*BUG* Task does not complete when watching movie/movie marathon

Question

I've noticed since the update last week that if a Sim is sitting in a chair that is perpendicular to the TV, the action hangs when watching a movie or marathon. The progress bar is full, the timer says 0, but they just sit there as if still watching. I close the app, even in multitasker, and it doesn't help. I am using an iPad 4, software 7.1.1. Any suggestions?

I'm using an iPhone 5s and iPad 2, latest software, and have the same issue.

Ive encountered the same problem. It happens with other actions as well. It all started with the recent update.

the other actions ive observed include Hypnotized by fish and planting crops. Timer hangs at zero and the task does not complete.
