Issues since new update
Since the new update, I can no longer plant anything at home lots, tasks are cancelling themselves when we're half way through, and I can't get to other tasks saying something is in the way when there is clearly not. I've reported this through the EA chat but, they have just told me to report it on here, and if it's happening to others who report it then they will look into it to fix it. I am writing to report a recurring issue I have been experiencing with the Sims FreePlay application. I have been an active player for the past two years and have thoroughly enjoyed the game until recently, when I began encountering a frustrating technical problem that has significantly impacted my experience. For the past week, the app has consistently crashed upon opening, without any warning or indication of network problems. While it occasionally functions properly in the morning, it fails to load at all during the rest of the day. This issue occurs regularly, limiting my ability to engage with the game to just one or two brief windows each day. I have taken steps to troubleshoot the problem, including uninstalling and reinstalling the app. However, the issue persists. I have also ensured that there are no storage limitations or imposed restrictions on the app that might be causing this behavior. Given that this problem only began 2 weeks ago and that no changes have been made to my device settings, I suspect there may be a bug or a compatibility issue within the app itself. I’m at level 9 and I’ve done all the quests I need in order to level up except for one which is add a Sim, but I have 8/9 Sims in my town and it will not let me add another one. It tells me I’m at my max capacity, but if I can’t add a sim, I can’t level up. What do I do? Someone please help🙏🥲Update Crashes Neighbor visit
Was not able to visit Neighbors. After the update, it offered a login to my EA account in-game. So I logged in using Facebook the same way I am logged in to use the neighbors boat to visit other Sim FreePlay towns. I had a Sim in another town completing a task. When I tried to visit it would fade out like it was going and then would go back to my town, location of lead Sim character. Trying a second time after that causes the game to crash. I’m using iPhone 16 Pro with iOS 18.3.2 haven’t updated to 18.4.1 yet. I repeated this several times even after a forced game restart. I need tech-support to tell me whether I should erase my cloud back up from 21 hours ago so I can save a new cloud back up and maybe do a reinstall. Not happy! I'm at level 16, and I've done some progression quests and all, but I've reached the point where I'm doing the horse's quest and I have to buy a telescope, but the hobbies session just doesn't show in store and I didn't even know it existed util I asked a friend about it. I really need to know if it's a bug or if I need to do something for it to appear at the store, because I need the quest to level up. Obs: My account is very old, I have recently recovered it and I had done some quests before, so I don't know if this has something to do with thatCommunity Market disappointing
I love to set my sims to plant for an hour and come back to it as a reward in my working day. This is how I’ve updates my job locations - police, movie, spa, hospital, as well. Set things and come back. This new update appears to me nothing more than a money grab, it hinders my ability to make simoleons, because I used to have like 25 sims sitting around growing things. Now I have none. The market at most will be able to hold ten so what do I do with the other ones? It will take much longer for me to accumulate simoleons to do other tasks so the part of the game that is my favorite - growing the town and building more things will take longer to do, and for what? Something that looks like the sims version of township ( based on the ads) which I don’t play on purpose because it looks boring as heck? Not to mention I have to purchase each of the plots at the market, they aren’t just readily available like all my former plots. So really, rather than paying me in simoelons for the plants that were growing, you should have also offered a premium for the plots that I can no longer make simoleons off of. Now there is less interest for me in playing the game. You never do anything to improve the creative side of the game for the player. If I want to build a house to design my people I have to scroll through all the options I’ve collected over years of play, there’s no good search for this yet, there’s no different body types to better look like a more varied group of people, you don’t have any disabled characters at all. All that potential creative expression is hindered, but for me that’s part of why I play in the first place. Everyone I know who plays any version of the sims plays for that creative aspect. Sure we need simoleons to do so, but why fix something that isn’t broken and continue to ignore something that players continue to ask to improve, it just makes no sense to me why there isn’t more consumer research for these updates.Community Market
I love new features and additions to the game and is usually excited for each update. However, I dont like that my sims can't plant at home anymore. I normally send them to plant beans/onions overnight then send them to work in the morning. After working, I let them plant onions which would occupy their time until I'm home. With the community market, I have to check in every couple minutes to an hour to earn simoleons. Additionally, only max 10 sims can plant at the community market, leaving my other sims unoccupied while I'm busy at work and otherwise and not able to check in every couple minutes. Also, unoccupied sims need tend to drain quicker. This is not practical for the average person with a regular life. Let's say I log on to work on a build, then I'd have to leave the location every couple mins to tend to the community market. This feature feel like it belongs in a farming game. I would prefer if actual issues raised by the players are addressed, like reducing the time taken to finish some quests and also the sim requirement.
Game Glitch
I was doing the last task on the Palm Springs thing I think that’s what it is called. The game did an update and now it is saying the task wasn’t done and I can’t get my sims to do the last task. I have worked really hard to keep my streak going to get the gesty prize at the end. How can this be fixed?? I have an iPhone. That I am using.Reverse tempest of bliss
I know this sounds weird, but it would amazing if it was somehow possible to restart the tempest of bliss or remove it. I have been playing the sims freeplay for a long time and a while ago I upgraded the monument to a high level. But there’s so much fun in your sims motives naturally lowering and I miss taking care of my sims because now their needs never decay. it’s starting to hinder enjoyment. If anyone knows of any way to reverse the tempest of bliss monument or how to remove it please let me know, and if any sims team person sees this, please consider adding a way to reverse or remove the monument 🙏Too many sims required for one task
Long time Sims FreePlay player here (15 years). Is it just me or is it a little annoying that you need 22 sims to do one task that lasts for hours? The pregnancy journey needs 15+ sims at a time. Barter Boardwalk needs 22 sims for 9.5 hours just to name two, it’s tedious, inconvenient and boring.
