New Update Out of Touch With Reality for its Players!!!!!!
I want to start off by saying that the Sims Freeplay is now becoming unusable to its players and developers are more out of touch with reality than ever. It is diappointing that a gaming business does not take the customers needs and finances into consideration, and seems to be good with overcharging for not a lot of mediocre items. I do not understand why you all think that its a good idea to expect players to play $9.99 a month for terrible items. In the video, you can see that the premium pass tickets are not worth the return on investment and you are not in any considerate of the loyal players who love this game. This is pure greed, the challenges are more difficult to complete, designed to squeeze more money of of players accounts. In today's climate, where the cost of living is so high and things are not affordable, you would think that the developers would not be so obvious that they care more about money and making money over their players desire to have a more enjoyable game. I expected that updates were going to make challenges easier to complete for players and award more prizes and offer less expensives items to purchase. The challenges this year (simchases and craft challenges) are terrible, the prizes offered are poor, the simchases are basically getting coins to slow down your opponent moreso than winning cool prizes. This is simply not good enough, this is ridiculous that you expect players to pay for a premium pass, that offers nothing in return. If you really want to run this app into the ground and out of business, I suggest you keep going on this trajectory, and allow your competitors to create more affordable, sim-like apps that will take your customer fan base!!!!9Views0likes0CommentsHelllo EA developers
Petition to Modify the Realtor Upgrade Hello Developers, I am writing to respectfully express my concern about a recent change introduced with the Realtor upgrade. I respect everyone’s religion, personal beliefs, and way of life, and I believe players should be able to enjoy the game without feeling that particular beliefs or lifestyles are being promoted to them. One of the things I appreciated about the game was that players previously had options regarding how they wanted to interact with different features. However, the Realtor upgrade now appears to give Sims autonomous cleaning behaviors that occur while they are idle. I personally find some of these animations uncomfortable and inconsistent with the way I prefer to play the game. I am therefore asking the development team to consider modifying the Realtor upgrade so that these autonomous actions can be disabled through the game’s settings, or otherwise giving players the option to control whether these animations occur. This is not a request to remove anyone’s ability to play the game according to their own preferences. I am simply asking that players who do not want certain behaviors or animations imposed through autonomous gameplay be given the choice to turn them off. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback. I hope you will consider providing players with greater control over these autonomous actions in a future update.32Views0likes0CommentsSims limit
I wanted to talk about the number of sims that can be on one lot at the same time. I’m currently planning a wedding in my town, and the limit of 11 Sims makes it almost impossible to properly use a wedding venue. I have 5 tables with chairs prepared for the guests, but with only 11 Sims allowed on the lot, I can barely use 2 tables. The rest of the seating and dining area is basically useless because I simply cannot have enough Sims there. What is more I really want to invite more sims because it is a wedding ceremony. In my opinion weddings are supposed to feel like a big celebration, with the bride and groom, family, friends and other guests all together. It feels really disappointing to spend so much time building a beautiful venue with plenty of tables, chairs and decorations, only to be unable to actually use it because of the Sim limit. I have a question to the creators of the Sims freeplay : Could you please consider increasing the limit to at least 20–30 Sims per lot ? Even better, it could be an optional higher limit that players can enable in the settings, so devices that cannot handle it would not be affected. I think this would make weddings, birthday parties, family gatherings and other special events so much more enjoyable and realistic. 🥹💗 Please consider it. It would make a huge difference for players who love building and creating events in their towns. It’s my suggestion but I think that many players would agree with me. I’m not asking for 100 sims per lot because it will be too much, but only 20-30. Please think about doing an update like that 😭19Views0likes1CommentGame crashing when I try to go to one specific lot
Hi there! I am playing on my iPad and I have done so since the game was launched. My current ipad is new and has a very large RAM/storage, yet whenever i try to go to the lot that I have specifically to play quests, the game has been closing and taking me to my desktop. I have uninstalled the game twice. I have rebooted once. I am logged in everywhere and I have checked my facebook app to ensure the issue was that. It’s been 2 days now and I cannot access the new quest but I can visit neighbours and other lots with ease and play as normal. Just not that quest lot. Can someone please advise/help with a solution? Cheers!11Views0likes0CommentsSuggestions for Improvements to The Sims FreePlay
Hello, The Sims FreePlay team! I would like to suggest a few improvements that could make the game experience even better: 💡 1. Lights It would be very useful to improve the lighting system. When tapping on a light, there could be an option to turn on or turn off only the lights in that specific room, instead of having to control each light individually. It would also be great to have an option such as “Turn all lights on/off in this room.” 👨👩👧 2. Family Tree The game already recognizes family relationships such as mother, father, grandfather and grandmother. It would be really nice to expand this system to include: - Uncle and aunt - Cousin - Brother-in-law and sister-in-law - Nephew and niece These relationships could be automatically recognized as Sims create new families, have children and get married. This would make the family tree much more complete and make Sims' families feel more realistic and connected. 👗 3. Search Bar in the Wardrobe and Inventories This would be an extremely useful improvement. There could be a search bar in categories that contain many items. For example, players could search for words such as “dress,” “shirt,” “heels,” or even the name of a specific item, allowing them to find it quickly without having to scroll through hundreds of options. It may seem like a small change, but it would save a LOT of time, especially for players who have unlocked many items. I hope these suggestions can be considered for future updates. They are simple improvements that could make the game much more convenient and enjoyable! ❤️NuvemdaMaya1 day agoRising Newcomer9Views1like0CommentsThe road to fame

Hi Firemonkeys and EA team, I love playing The Sims FreePlay, but honestly, I have quit the game more than once and came back more than once due to my deep disappointment with the restrictions—especially the harsh Sim limits. Previously, due to a game glitch, I was able to have around 70 Sims in my town, and it finally felt alive! But when that glitch was fixed and my town was forcefully slashed back down to 45, it completely broke my heart. Happily married couples (including my custom self-Sim and her husband, plus cute gay and lesbian couples) were torn apart, houses were left feeling abandoned with pets left behind, and it honestly made me want to cry. You give us all these gorgeous properties and huge maps across the main town, the island, the desert biome, and new developments, but nobody is living in them—it’s giving a total "ghost town." I’ve rage-quitted and stopped playing for years at a time because of these tight constraints, missing out on so many fun updates over the years. Even working within the constraints of a mobile game, it would be amazing if you removed the strict Sim cap and gave players the choice to have as many Sims as we want—just like in Sims 4 where you can have large households and a slightly open world where characters can move around freely. Along with that, I’d love to propose a massive list of updates and improvements to make gameplay much more immersive and fun: 1. Remove the Sim Limit & Improve How We Unlock Sims Raise or Remove the Cap: Let players choose how many Sims they want in their towns without fear of sudden rollbacks or losing beloved married couples and households. We can have a ton of pets now, but we need a ton of people to match! Fairly Priced Expansion Bundles: Unlocking new Sims through difficult job quests and time-consuming events can feel like going through "trials and tribulations." If you offer paid Sim bundles, please make them affordable and tiered (for example: $7.99 for 15 Sims, $15 for 20 Sims, scaling up to 60+ Sims for dedicated players). 2. Body Types, Height Variations, Muscle Mechanics, and Facial Diversity True Body Diversity, Heights, & Weight/Muscle Physics: Right now, all Sims have the exact same build and height. We need a system similar to Sims 4 or Sims Mobile where Sims can actually change shape and size! Let us have taller Sims and shorter Sims, lean/skinny Sims, thick/plus-size Sims, and characters that actually get jacked and muscular when they work out at the gym so players can truly put themselves into the game. Expanded Facial Customization: We need way more diverse facial structures representing different ethnicities, along with skin modifications like vitiligo and full-body freckles to make every Sim truly unique. 3. Allow Multiple Hobbies Per Sim & Expand Hobbies Across Ages Multiple Hobbies: Sims are currently strictly limited to one hobby at a time. It would be fantastic if Sims could branch out (like bowling, surfing, hitting the arcade, fashion catwalks, or makeup) without wiping out their progress in another hobby. Expand Karate & Ballet to All Ages: Bring back and expand skills like karate and ballet so they aren't restricted to just preteens. Teens and adults should be able to join in, practice, and earn black belts too! 4. Life Stage Expansion: Add Dedicated "Kids" Stage Add a distinct Child stage between toddlers and preteens, along with more furniture options to match, creating a smoother transition than jumping straight from toddlers to preteens. Plus, introduce teen driving permits/cars so teenagers can drive around town! 5. Revamp Underused Spaces & Dead Buildings The Shopping Mall: Once you buy everything, the mall becomes useless. Let it regularly rotate and sell past limited-time event outfits, clothes, shoes, and accessories that players missed out on. The Pregnancy & Baby Stores: Update the baby, children's, and pregnancy stores to let players purchase items, clothing, hairstyles, and rewards from past events using Simoleons or Social Points. The City School: Turn the empty city school into a functioning college or school where extra adult Sims can actually work as elementary or high school teachers. The Park & Playgrounds: Add real, functional playgrounds to the park so children and families can actually hang out and play naturally. Snow Park, Wizard Tower & Campgrounds: Revamp the Snow Park into a lively social destination, add active trail systems to the campgrounds for hiking groups, and give the wizard tower more interactive features. 6. Add Regional Shopping Centers & Functional Grocery Stores Biome Shopping Hubs: Provide localized shopping centers and community spots for each individual biome and neighborhood so players don't have to travel all the way to the desert. Functional Grocery Stores: Let Sims walk inside, browse, and actually purchase things rather than just interacting with passive facades. 7. Turn Restaurants & Venues Into Active Workplaces Active Restaurant Gameplay: Let Sims actively work in restaurants with dedicated roles like chefs, waiters, bartenders, and live musicians using the piano. Introduce a Business Ownership System (Sims 4 "Get to Work" Style): Allow players to designate lots as residential or commercial businesses so Sims get paid to work at player-owned bars, movie theaters, and wedding venues. 8. Unlock Customization for Vacation Homes & Special Lots Decorate Vacation & Special Lots: We should be able to fully customize and decorate spaces like the Love Island vacation beach house (making it a two-story home, for example) and the magical fairy garden place instead of being stuck with pre-set furniture. 9. Expand Active Workplaces & Allow More Sims to Work Together For active career locations like the Police Station, Hospital, Movie Studio, and Restaurant, let more Sims work at the same location at the same time (e.g., multiple Sims working as movie stars and directors together) so tasks get done faster and workplaces feel alive. 10. Overhaul Cooking, Hobbies, Gardening, and Grilling Separate Cooking from Hobbies: Cooking shouldn't be locked down permanently as a hobby once you hit maximum level; it should be a regular daily life skill (with baking acting as the dedicated hobby). Fix household feeding mechanics so multiple family members can use the kitchen and outdoor BBQs (generating a stack of plates) seamlessly. Gardening Mechanics: Bring back and enhance smooth, flexible garden mechanics so players have full control over growing and maintaining productive gardens. 11. Build Mode Upgrades: Free-Angle Placement & Half-Tile Grids Angled/Diagonal Furniture Placement: Introduce built-in free rotation or diagonal placement options so furniture (like angled TVs facing a couch) can be set up naturally without awkward grid restrictions. Half-Tile Grids: Add half-tile increments or smaller sub-grids to give players precision and flexibility when designing homes. 12. Expand Career Options Add specific education career roles like Elementary School Teachers and High School Teachers. 13. Full-Lot Property Boundaries & Advanced Vehicle Systems Utilize Full Property Lines: Let building and yard customization stretch all the way from the front pavement back to the rear fence line, rather than being confined to a rigid, smaller square grid in the middle of the lot. Multiple Vehicles & Guest Parking: Allow households to own multiple vehicles per lot instead of being limited to one car. Unused parking spaces should function as "guest parking" spots when visiting Sims come over, or let couples get into a car together to go on romantic drives. Also, let island residents use functional boats to travel back and forth instead of just teleporting! 14. Working Multi-Generational Family Trees & Relationship Fixes Expanded Family Trees: Add a fully functional, glitch-free family tree system that tracks extended family lineages across multiple generations (parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren) so legacy gameplay actually works as intended without relationships randomly resetting or turning Sims into strangers. Thank you so much for continuing to update the game and listen to player feedback. I really hope to see some of these changes brought to FreePlaytubmkbghcylw3 days agoNew Novice14Views0likes0CommentsWedding bells crafting quest

Hello! I'm writing to share a suggestion regarding the event rerun schedule in The Sims Freeplay. Recently, it feels like the same handful of recent events are being repeated continuously. While I understand the need to give players another chance at missing items, the current rotation is actually disadvantageous for both new and veteran players alike. Newer players miss out completely on obtaining items and grand prizes from classic events that ran years ago, while old players feel bored by the repetitive cycle since they have already completed these recent events. Reopening older events allows new players to collect classic items, while giving old players a chance to finish events they missed in the past. In particular, I’m really hoping to see a rerun of the early SimChase series, specifically the classic seasons from the first few years that were packed with diverse hair and outfits. Many of us miss the generous reward lineups from those earlier runs that haven't appeared in a long time. Beyond SimChase, I also hope to see reruns of classic Crafting Events, Fashion Designer Hobby Events, and Influence Islands that offered diverse CAS and build items. I took a multi-year break from the game and missed out on so many amazing outfits, hairstyles, wallpapers, and floorings during those absent years. I have listed the specific events I would like to see rerun below. Early SimChase Seasons (Seasons 1~30): Seasons with richer CAS rewards, including diverse hairstyles, outfits, and accessories. Classic Crafting Events (Live Events): Past events featuring unique wallpapers and floorings. (Especially the "Chic Boutique" event and the "Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow" event, and the "france gallery" event, etc.) Fashion Designer Hobby Events: Limited-time hobby events that unlocked exclusive clothing and hairstyles. (Especially the Long hair event and the Stocking event.) Influence Island Events: Early seasons with highly requested CAS rewards. (Season 5, 6, 13, 17, 21, etc.) I fully recognize that player opinions on event pacing vary, and this might not be the highest priority on the development roadmap. However, from a game management perspective, bringing back legacy/older event files rather than cycling through recent ones wouldn't require designing brand new assets or changing the game's core direction. I am so eager to participate in these events! I truly hope my feedback can be reflected starting from the very next update. (And... honestly, the build and furniture items are already so beautiful and diverse, which is wonderful! Moving forward, I really hope the team focuses more on expanding the variety of CAS items so players can enjoy even richer options for customizing their sims.) Thank you! P.S. English is not my first language, so I used a translator to write this post.jyk_im049 days agoNewcomer31Views1like0CommentsSims Free play Sir Moleon's Purchase Not Received
I purchased a Sir Moleon's savings bundle about four days ago, and I'm yet to receive it. After the purchase was deducted from my MasterCard, I opened the Sims freeplay app to a message saying I had purchased a Sir Moleon's savings, and it would be credited to my Sims account, along side extra VIP points. Unfortunately, that never happened leaving me disappointed and confused for a while now. The debit has been made from my MasterCard, and since the Sims freeplay app acknowledged it, I should have been credited immediately. I've purchased the Sir Moleon's savings before, and I was credited immediately, so why is it different now? I restarted my phone, yet it didn't work. Please I'd appreciate if this issue can be addressed and fixed quickly. If you can't fix it, then I should be refunded. Thanks for all the amazing games you've provided over the years, and I look forward to hearing from you.Sombae10 days agoNot applicable1.7KViews0likes9CommentsError Code 20013
