That is not what they are talking about...I am having the same problem too. I have no haunted items ANYWHERE in my store, and if I go to a neighbors that was luck enough to purchase some before they were ripped out of the store, I am unable to use them. BUT I still get goals that include ghost. It's ridiculous.
Same problem. Not able to buy haunted items or ghost hunt at Neighbor communities. Using Sims Free Play for iPad.
