Careers: jobs i dont want

So i was looking for some method to dismiss the jobs i dont want to take from the sims that show up at the police station, hospital, and movie studio. Im trying to dismiss them because there are to few of the necessary resources showing up that i need. At this rate ill never be able to accomplish acquiring the badges necessary to level up. In a career.

    You can't dismiss customers, you just have to keep going until you get the resources you need. It is one of the more tedious aspects of the game. You can at least sell off excess unwanted resources to earn simoleons, and you can buy other resources as you accrue profession currencies. The lucky spin options can be helpful sometimes as well.
