how do you delete/remove a sim from the game?

I have been trying to delete/remove one of my sims from my game yet I have been unable to do so. Any help would be appreciated 🙂

Select the sim. make him/her use the wardrobe and there remove a sim option on the left up corner there.

I don't see a red x. Did they take this option out or am i missing something?

That's OLD WAY TO REMOVE THEM it no longer goes thru wardrobe.
Have the sim free not doing nothing that you want to delete.
Click on sim.
You will see menu says total makeover for 12 LP ( this is how you change a name now BTW.) And have birthday. AT THE TOP where it shows sims name look to the end on right for a red X AND THATS WHERE U DELETE THAT SIM.
