I cannot finish the tricks stage in horse hobby

If I understand correctly you are trying to get through the hobby so you can complete the next horse pen for the next hobby. The horse tricks takes awhile to complete. I would recommend you keep your sim doing just the hobby and don't send him to work. And keep his needs maxed out. 

I have had two people constantly at the stables with two horses doing horse tricks for several weeks now and I still don't have a 2 star horse available because it says I haven't completed the Horse Tricks. I have both other parts unlocked to be able to use, too. At this point I don't know what is a glitch and what just takes forever to accomplish....Since the Wizard is also nowhere at any one of my houses and places I have built to "High-Five" I am starting to think this game has too many glitches. I have tickets open for the Wizard high-five and gone thru all of the troubleshooting links they have sent me with no success. Something you can try is what they had me do, to see if its a program, or memory, issue:

Finishing the horse tricks hobby requires collecting all the medals, not maxing out the skill
