I need help in Spell Casting Quest

I have tried tapping every chair, person and even the table. Nothing's happening. I'm so frustrated. I'm now down to 7 hours. I'm seriously considering erasing everything and starting all over again. I just don't know what to do 😭.
In reading through the comments from the link I sent you I found this suggestion
"Hopefully this solution from a player works: ‘I finally figured out that you have to have your sims sit down rather quickly, before the other characters sit down. I exited and then went back to the park. When the table is empty click to sit down and then click for the other sim to “join in”. Be fast because once the characters start sitting, neither sim will be able to sit down’"
- I really appreciate all your help. I finally did it !!. I'm still not 100% sure how exactly I did it, but I got them to both sit at the table. After I missed out on the wizard's house and the barn owl for the spell casting hobby. Thank you. I hope to keep in touch, especially should more problems arise.
